BOLIVIA
| August 6, 1999 - La Paz Bolivia,
airport elevation 13313 ft. MSL. AAR&S was asked by an
Insurance Company to recover a 1978 Lear 35 which had been seized by
the Bolivian Government more than 10 years earlier. The aircraft had
been grounded for the past 5 years. After 10 years of neglect the
aircraft needed numerous airframe and engine component changes in order to
make the aircraft ferriable. Atlanta Air Recovery provided the experience, flight crew
and maintenance personnel to make the necessary repairs. On August 15,
1999, AAR&S had the aircraft ferried to Atlanta, Georgia allowing the
Insurance Company to close out a 10 year ordeal and recover monies paid out
on the claim. |
